it was a grand day in the house of fabric...
first, the queen arrived with her entourage:) what a grand way to spend a birthday...shop hopping at quilt stores. such great friends and customers. we did get a chuckle when sarah asked the birthday gal how old she was...and after her truthful reply...sarah says..."whoa" with great inflection as if to say...wow that is old. i guess i need to work on age diplomacy with miss sarah:)
.
then we had another truly magical moment. one of sarah's blog followers came to visit. from several states away. such a surprise...
so, so sweet to see the interaction between the girls. their extra third chromosome on that 21st pairing, just seems to make a natural bond all the more precious. you can see cute more pics over on sarah's blog.

Age diplomacy is over-rated. :) I bet it made their day that Sarah asked. I LIKE getting older and do not pine for the younger years at all. Maybe these ladies feel the same way; I never mind when someone asks me what my "real" age is.
Sarah, you are wonderful! As always. :)

Such a precious moment in that picture! I think that extra chromosome must be the LOVE chromosome! You have a precious daughter. Love her reaction to the age! So sweet.
