i'd heard so many people talkin' about these new glasses.  for down home feminine drinkin' i reckon...

so i was pretty happy when i found 'em. even happier once they arrived...

can't decide which one i like best...the wine, the margarita or the martini:) btw...new window display in progress...featuring a queen size beauty by our very own katrina. stay tuned...

two is better than one...

have you driven by the shop lately?  if not, we have a little surprise...

our sweet southern belle has brought in a second dress for us to display. for this one she chose the deep red poinsettia print from basicgreys' jovial collection. then around the bottom she took a panel from kate spain's twelve days of christmas and created a border. very clever this bonnie gal is. then around the middle she has used a square print from ready, set, snow by me and my sister. i just love them both.

this red dress is also available on bonnie's etsy site.  remember though, it is an ooak (one of a kind) so when it is sold there are no more.

i'm so excited to share this next photo...

meet kirill and his brother clayton. the journey for kirill to reach his forever family was not easy. his new mom and dad were tenacious in their fight to be sure he lived a life full of love and hugs away from the orphanage he resided. you can read more about sarah's work on kirill's quilt and pillowcases here.

on the receiving end

our shipping and receiving supervisor was beginning to wonder if he in fact had a job.

today he met pete our wonderful ups driver who has been doing all of the hauling so far.

meet matt. he is busy this week as we are receiving all kinds of goodies.

today he is unpacking and checking pick tickets to make sure we have received what we thought we would.

he is finding this job is not too bad. he can still listen to the ipod while working. looks as though he may be dancing with a bolt of fruitcake.

ah yes, the entire collection of fruitcake by basicgrey is in the house. sweet, sweet, sweet.
