westward ho...

if only i'd dropped a coin in a jar each time i heard the word west as in...i see you've come to the westside this weekend. it is such a cleveland thing...eastside, westside, southside, northside. well, truthfully there isn't really a northside unless you're a fish...

in all seriousness...i had such a great time at the quilter's legacy of lakewood quilt show this weekend. i had the pleasure of meeting some wonderful new quilters and seeing friends who regularly venture over to the eastside where our house of fabric is located.

an additonal bonus when doing shows is spending time with other shop owners. it was especially fun to get to know rosanne of anna's sewing center a little better. she and i are going to collaborate a little more to make sure your shopping experience in both of our stores is unique.

thanks to all the ladies and gentlemen who worked so hard to make this year's show a success. i so appreciate being included.

beautiful setting...

...beautiful quilts. sarah and i had the privilege of attending the opening reception of the willoughby hills quilt quild's show last evening...

...the best part of vending at such events is seeing so many beautiful friends, both customers and other quilt shop owners. thank you to the quild for a great opening reception and for inviting us.

warm & welcoming...

what a wonderful day we had at the wildwood quilt show...

such a warm & welcoming day in so many ways.  the sun was shinning.  the venue was a pleasant place to exhibit and our booth location was just perfect.  lunch was delicious and the desserts were grand.  it was great to see so many friends gathered in one place and to meet new ones too.

sarah and i would like to thank the wildwood quilt guild for including us in their 22nd annual show, for their hard work, their friendly and helpful gestures, and for displaying and sharing so many beautiful and inspiring creations.

wildwood quilt show...

please join us at the...

our booth is in front of the stage in the main room. there are also ten other vendors participating.  i had the pleasure of seeing the exhibit today and there are many quilts worth your visit. hope to see you on sunday in mentor.

a driving hint: the best route from the south is to take I-90 east to route 615. turn left at the top of the exit and continue on 615 going north, also known as munson road. you will go under route 2 which has much construction therefore why i recommend I-90. once you pass mentor high school, look for the signs to the mentor senior center. it will be well marked.

we had a great day at the mayfield township historical society biennial quilt show. there are many beautiful quilts on display by the members of this quilt guild. they are serving yummy cookies and punch. we have a small booth featuring our fall collections set up along with marcy from katie brooke quilt shop in kent, ohio and beth from cottonpickers in madison, ohio. the show runs from 9:30 - 4:00 on sunday too, so come out and join us if you are in the area.
