sunny sunkissed...

so surprising was the weather this weekend. we hit 78 in cleveland. for northeast ohio, that is a near record this time of year. it was so nice to have a little sunshine peeking in on our newest window display...

sunkissed has moved right up to the front row. sweetwater really hit it with this collection. it has been our best seller to-date. how do you like our version of hoppy, floppy and loppy? sarah and i fell in love with these little bunnies the minute we saw them. and then we turned the corner of her favorite target and spotted the adorable pink polka-dot rain boots. too bad they didn't come in our size:)

and how about the adorable bibs. five in all. another great find on etsy at the site of babymaeboutique. the print is directly from sweetwater's etsy site.  this next picture...

does not begin to do justice to these fine creations.  the easter egg wall hanging. omg!!! another masterful creation from crystal at frivolousnecessity. her letter work is the best i've ever seen. if you are in the area, it is worth stopping by just to see it. but wait. see the nine block on the wall. it too is a crystal original.

now i have to tell you about the quilt in the middle. i found it on etsy in a general search using the word "sunkissed." sarah loved it, so we bought it. then we got an email from the seller at quiltedthimblecottage. turns out jenn has been following our story for some time and was thrilled that we had found her. it seems everyday i am simply amazed at the power of this internet.

one final shot to show you sunkissed on display. i know i say this every time i write, but this time no lie. for real, half that stock is already gone.  sunkissed...we love you.

Maybe this is weird...and maybe it is because I am more of an "art-lover" than a "sew-er"...

Whenever I see one of the pictures of a display in your shop, I think, "YUM!" Or something along those lines. :) It is always, "OH, I love the way those colors look all fanned out - YUM!" or "I love the way that display piece brings it all together - YUM!"

Whatever it is, you're good at it, and it is YUMMY. It just is. :)

Thank you for another happy Monday with some Joyce-and-Sarah-art in it!

I'm pretty sure you know how I feel about Sunkissed and Sweetwater. Ha Ha! And what Cathy says is so so true. You merchandise your store like a real pro! Every time I walk in I have to just wander around for a bit just to see what you've done recently.

On another note, any news on the Flurry precuts? I'll be in this week if they came in. And how about Sherbet Pips? Will you be getting any of that?

What a great display! You are so smart to add the finished items with the fabric. So glad to hear that it is a good seller. Puts a lot of pressure on us to come up with another good line.
Hope you like Hometown. I bet you could come up with some great displays for it.
I'm frantically trying to get our quilts done to send to the quilter for Quilt Market. Taking more time than I thought but it's fun to have some new prints to work with. Lisa and Susan are also working on another new collection to submit to Moda.

Wish we were closer to visit your shop. Thanks so much for letting us know about your blog post.
If you go to Quilt Market, stop by our booth and say Hi.
