snake eyes...
i was so excited when i heard the cleveland zoo was offering free admittance to moms on mother's day. then i realized i no longer have any children who want to go with me. so i headed over to the sewcial lounge for some afternoon relaxation...
i think a trip to the zoo might have been a safer idea:) yes, the needle broke. fortunately, after it went through my finger. how about you. do you have any sewing injuries to share?
I had most of my accidents cutting out before the days of rotary cutters. Of course there was an infamous tush and knitting needles incident. I have a two hole scar very like your snake eyes. Hope your tetanus shot is up to date! They used to say to change your needle with every new project. It's the old dull or bent ones that get you. I feel your pain! Love, Aunt Becky
i received my first sewing machine for christmas when i was just seven years old. it started a life long passion for stitching and a love of fabric. i started a custom design company nearly 20 years ago named creations by jellen. it has been a dream of mine to own a fabric shop one day...and that day has finally come...the mission has changed somewhat...yet oh how grand it has become with my daughter, Sarah Ellen, by my side. her extra chromosome has been a blessing from the day she was born. we hope you will be able to stop to visit us one day. JEllen's house of fabric is located on the eastside of cleveland in ohio.
